Ernest Desrosiers is an expert in governance, financing, and strategic development within the agricultural and agri-food sectors. Drawing on his experience with private, cooperative, and public organizations, he supports leaders in navigating their growth, management, and governance challenges.

With over 45 years of experience, Ernest has held several senior executive positions, notably at the Société coopérative agricole des Appalaches, La Coop fédérée (Sollio), MAPAQ, and La Financière agricole du Québec, where he served as President and CEO. He also chaired the board of directors of Capital Financière agricole inc. (CFAI). Throughout his career, he has spearheaded numerous initiatives related to financing, organizational development, and the transformation of Quebec’s agri-food sector.

He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Sciences (Agroeconomics) and a Master of Business Administration from Université Laval. He is also a certified corporate director, a graduate of the Canadian Agriculture Leadership Program at the University of Saskatchewan, and has completed specialized training for agri-food business executives at Harvard Business School.
