With over 30 years of venture capital experience in the SME market, Roger Durand is an international expert known for his investor skills and his ability to achieve his objectives without losing sight of company values. He has a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières and is a member of the Canadian Securities Institute. He has worked as a fund manager and investor at two large venture capital corporations in Quebec (Desjardins Venture Capital and Fonds de solidarité des travailleurs du Québec (FTQ)) and, over the course of his career, has been involved in over 700 transactions. Mr. Durand has also been involved in companies’ strategic development, particularly by serving on boards of directors and by coaching executive teams during expansion, financing, succession and acquisition projects.
