Michel Bisson manages of innovative SMEs. Over the years, he has developed extensive expertise in R&D, manufacturing production, distribution, market development, quality assurance, and regulatory affairs (CSA and ULC). For 15 years, he served as President and CEO of a company specialized in the development and marketing of high-tech security equipment, employing more than 300 people in Canada and abroad. Trilingual, Michel has always enjoyed building productive relationships with unionized and non‑unionized staff in a multicultural work environment. Always on the cutting edge of innovation, Michel concluded R&D partnerships with Lockheed Martin, the NRCC, Université Laval, and Vale Mining, which led to the production and sale of patented components. As the holder of several patents, he understands the issues involved in the lifecycle of innovative products. In the past, he has held the positions of Corporate Director, R&D and Quality at CCM Sport Maska, and Production and R&D Unit Manager at Mitel Semi-conducteur in Bromont. Michel has a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Physics and a Master’s degree in Science (Microelectronic Processes) from École Polytechnique de Montréal, as well as an MBA (Operations Management and Business Strategy) from McGill University.
