Certified as a leadership coach of the distinguished The Forton Group of London, Georges Courteau has been contributing his expertise in senior management positions for over 20 years. He has worked in the United States, South America and England. For IBM Canada, where he spent 25 years of his career, he had a leadership role as an executive in the establishment of a new division in Quebec, IBM World Services, which experienced growth of up to $200 million per year over a three-year horizon. In 1996, he earned the title of Grand Performant awarded by Quebec’s business community. Georges Courteau also worked in support of IBM World Services’ mission in South America. From 2003 to 2005, he was Chairman of the Quebec Forest Industry Council, where he led negotiations on the thorny issue of lumber.
