Benoit Vézina is a seasoned manager who has led Lean Six Sigma organizational change and optimization projects for over 20 years. He launched his career in 1992 with the role of Regional Operations Manager at Saur Canada, a subsidiary of a French company. He oversaw the activities and maintenance of 25 municipal water treatment plants. Later, from 2001 to 2006, he worked as Senior Optimization Project Manager at Groupe Conseil Omnitech. During this time, he launched and delivered a varied range of projects: business process transformation, business process optimization and control tools integration, for example.
In 2006, he became General Manager at Atlas Aeronautik. He overhauled the company’s business activities, which allowed for a company-wide relaunch and generated annual sales growth of 25% over six consecutive years. In 2012, Mr. Vézina accepted the role of Operations Manager at Delstar Énergie-Groupe Delom, a manufacturer of turbines for large power-generating plants. He oversaw a complete restructuring of activities that, in one year, boosted turnover from $15 million to $22 million. He also implemented LEAN strategies in the factories and a large number of best practices in all departments. In January 2015, Benoit Vézina represented Veolia as a strategic advisor on organizational performance for the new CHUM. Since June 2016, he has worked as Director of Share Services at Groupe Helios, a company that offers management services for urban and industrial infrastructure.
Benoit Vézina holds a BA in Industrial Engineering from Université de Trois-Rivières. He is also a certified LEAN and Green SixSigma Black Belt.
