Saint-Hyacinthe Technopole and Inno-centre sign an agreement aimed at supporting innovative businesses
Saint-Hyacinthe Technopole and Inno-centre have signed a partnership agreement aimed at supporting and accelerating the growth of innovative businesses in the Saint-Hyacinthe region.
This support program, led by Inno-centre, is aimed at businesses whose turnover is below $2 million and who work in industrial technologies (agri-food processing, clean technologies, advanced manufacturing, etc.) and IT and communication technologies (ICT). Participating businesses can benefit from up to 160 hours of professional consulting services that are primarily aimed at helping them secure the financing they need to boost development and move forward with their business plans. The support services provide tailored solutions to meet one or more of the following business needs: business strategy, human resources, company organization, marketing, financial strategy, business contracts and intellectual property.
Thanks to the support of Canada Economic Development (CED) and the Ministère de l’Économie, de la Science et de l’Innovation du Québec (MESI), this program may be offered at a very reasonable rate to businesses in the Maskoutan region. In order to make the program even more accessible, Saint-Hyacinthe Technopole will cover up to 75% of the expenses incurred by the selected businesses.
“Saint-Hyacinthe is one of the most innovative industrial hubs in Quebec. Our territory boasts a large number of businesses that offer a technology or an innovative product with strong marketing potential. By partnering with Inno-centre to offer this program, Saint-Hyacinthe Technopole has shown that it plans to play an active role in the development and growth of our local manufacturing businesses and help them become better equipped to deploy their business strategies,” added André Barnabé, Saint-Hyacinthe Technopole’s General Manager.
Inno-centre developed this type of innovative business acceleration program for businesses whose turnover is below $2 million so as to open up access to world-class second-line business consulting services. Inno-centre has also rolled out this program in Quebec City, Gatineau, Saint-Jérôme, Bromont and the Memphremagog RCM.
For the past 30 years, Inno-centre has offered consulting services to creative SMEs at every stage of their development. The company’s team is made up of over 80 consultants who serve businesses all over Quebec from offices in Quebec City and Montreal. As part of the Canada Accelerator and Incubator Program (CAIP), Inno-centre was selected by a committee of risk capital specialists on behalf of Finance Canada as one of the best Canadian business acceleration services companies due to its impressive performance.
