| News Press Release

Inno-centre, the Accélérateur de création d’entreprises Technologiques (ACET) and Sherbrooke Innopole have signed a partnership agreement aimed at accelerating the growth of innovative businesses in the City of Sherbrooke and surrounding regions. This support program, led by Inno-centre, is tailored for businesses at different stages of growth, and is made up of two parts.

Pierre Nelis, Inno-centre’s Chief Operating Officer, believes that “this agreement will allow companies in the Sherbrooke region to benefit from an additional lever that will ensure the growth of their businesses. Inno-centre’s expertise is unrivalled in Quebec!”

“We are very pleased with this partnership with Inno-centre. Their support and growth acceleration program has proven successful in every region of Quebec! This agreement, combined with the industry expertise of the professionals at the ACET and Sherbrooke Innopole, will allow young tech companies and innovative SMEs in the Sherbrooke region to benefit from specialized services that will help them achieve their individual business objectives,” mentioned Josée Fortin, Sherbrooke Innopole’s Director General, and Ghyslain Goulet, President and CEO at the ACET.

Meet the needs of each business

The first chapter of the agreement is aimed at young tech companies with strong marketing potential whose turnover is below $2 million. Participating companies can benefit from up to 160 hours of professional consulting services that will help them build up a variety of expertise with an emphasis on marketing.

This program can be offered at a very reasonable rate to businesses thanks to the support of the ACET and Sherbrooke Innopole. These and other services are also offered to companies thanks to the contribution of Canada Economic Development for Quebec Regions (CED) and the Ministère de l’Économie, de la Science et de l’Innovation du Québec (MESI).

The second chapter caters to innovative SMEs whose turnover exceeds $2 million. Participating companies can benefit from up to 200 hours of professional consulting services that are primarily aimed at helping them tackle the challenges of growing their companies on a commercial, organizational or other level. These services are made possible by the Ministère de l’Économie, de la Science et de l’Innovation du Québec (MESI) and the National Research Council (NRC).
