Inno-centre is proud to announce that it was selected by the Government of Quebec to support over 400 SMEs across the province so that they can overcome the challenges of expanding and make their mark on an international level. Inno-centre was assigned a $15 million budgetary envelope to carry out this project within the framework of the Programme d’aide à l’entrepreneuriat (entrepreneurship assistance program).

Thanks to contributions by venture capital investment partners such as FTQ Solidarity Fund and Desjardins Capital, service partnerships with fifteen or so reputable professional firms and the participation of selected SMEs, the project will be led by Inno-centre and will reach a value of $33 M.

Claude Martel, Inno-centre President, stated that “Thanks to this significant investment on the part of the Government of Quebec, Inno-centre will be able to offer world-class business consulting services to hundreds of innovative SMEs across Quebec. Offering this support to businesses at a key point in their expansion will significantly increase the probability that some of them will become the big businesses of tomorrow.”

Mr. Stéphane Billette, Minister for Small and Medium Enterprises, Regulatory Streamlining and Regional Economic Development, and Mr. Saul Polo, Member for Laval-des-Rapides, and Parliamentary Assistant to the Minister of Finance, made the announcement at the offices of Terranova Worldwide Corporation, a business that benefits from Inno-centre’s support services.
