Inno-centre nominates Charles Boutin as Director General
Inno-centre is pleased to announce the nomination of Charles Boutin as Director General. The company is expanding rapidly and Mr. Boutin’s role will involve strengthening relations with major financial partners and overseeing mandates with client companies. Pierre Nelis, Inno-centre’s Chief Operating Officer, explains that “Our team is growing rapidly and the addition of Charles Boutin will allow us to consolidate our presence and the work undertaken by our team across the province.”
Charles Boutin is passionate about business, investment and entrepreneurship and he has honed his understanding of the industry and issues faced by companies. He has been an active investor in private placement and venture capital for major Quebec companies for over 15 years. During this time, he invested over $600 million primarily in SMEs, medium and large companies in the industrial sector. His varied functions in the field of investment allowed him to analyze the business models of several hundred companies across Quebec. He was also a director and shareholder of an SME and this entrepreneurial experience allowed him to make a successful first entry and exit. Charles Boutin has served on over a dozen boards of directors and participated in sectoral committees in the manufacturing, engineering, forestry and renewable energy sectors.
