Inno-centre commends the measures annouced for SMEs in the 2018-2019 Quebec budget
Inno-centre commends the measures announced in the 2018-2019 Quebec Economic Plan in support of SMEs across Quebec. By prioritizing several provisions related to taxation, the digital shift, support for businesses, and the availability of financing, the Quebec Economic Plan has effectively confirmed the importance of supporting businesses at every stage of their development as they overcome the challenges of expanding.
Inno-centre is proud to contribute to the success of this economic plan. An envelope of $15 million was earmarked for providing support services for SMEs in every region of Quebec as they expand and develop. Claude Martel, Inno-centre President, believes that “this budget recognizes the necessity of supporting the most successful SMEs by giving them access to high-level business consulting services for business people delivered by business people.”
The measures of this economic plan combined with the new governmental entrepreneurship action plan unveiled last week pave the way for concrete levers aimed at supporting and developing the thriving entrepreneurial ecosystem across Quebec. Our SMEs now have access to the tools and means they need to increase their contribution to the economic health of the province.
