Inno-centre and Développement économique de l’agglomération de Longueuil sign an agreement aimed at supporting SMEs
Inno-centre and Développement économique de l’agglomération de Longueuil (DEL) have signed a partnership agreement aimed at supporting and accelerating the growth of innovative businesses in the Agglomération de Longueuil territory.
This support program, led by Inno-centre, is aimed at businesses whose turnover is below $2 million and who primarily work in industrial technologies (agri-food processing, clean technologies, advanced manufacturing, etc.) and IT and communication technologies (ICT). Participating companies can benefit from up to 160 hours of professional consulting services that are primarily aimed at helping them secure the financing they need to boost development and move forward with their business plans.
Thanks to the support of Canada Economic Development (CED) and the Ministère de l’Économie, de la Science et de l’Innovation du Québec (MESI), this program may be offered at a very reasonable rate to businesses. In order to make the program even more accessible, the DEL will cover up to 75% of the expenses incurred by the selected companies.
Inno-centre developed this type of innovative business acceleration program for small to medium-size businesses whose turnover is below $2 million so as to open up access to world-class second-line business consulting services. Inno-centre has also rolled out this program in Quebec City, Gatineau, Saint-Jerome, Saint-Hyacinthe and the Memphremagog RCM.
For the past 30 years, Inno-centre has offered consulting services to creative SMEs at every stage of their development. The company’s team is made up of over 80 consultants who serve businesses all over the province from offices in Quebec City and Montreal. As part of the Canada Accelerator and Incubator Program (CAIP), Inno-centre was selected by a committee of risk capital specialists on behalf of Finance Canada as one of the best Canadian business acceleration services companies due to its impressive performance.
