RDS selects SOVO for live and offline closed captioning for the hearing impaired

SOVO Technologies, a leading provider of closed captioning and audio description services for the visual media, today announced that they have entered into a service agreement with RDS (Réseau des sports), the French-language sports network. As part of the agreement, SOVO will proivide all closed captioning for their non-live programs. The agreement comes in a strive from RDS to increase the percentage of content that is accessible to the deaf and hearing impaired community, RDS is committed to provide high quality closed captioning for 100% of its content by December 31, 2010.
