JAN CZECH

Jan Czech is a seasoned executive with considerable experience in a fast-growing and world-class high-tech corporation. As President of Teleglobe International, he successfully negotiated commercial agreements the world over. Mr. Czech has a thorough knowledge of strategic and tactic planning, forecasting, market analysis, pricing, development, and regulatory and international affairs. He is also Acting Chairman of the Board of CRIM (Centre de recherche informatique de Montréal).

  

ROGER FOURNIER

Business law specialist, as well as partner and manager in various communication and real estate firms, Me Fournier has been involved in all aspects of business from the very start of his career. His early experience, notably in public financing, led him to develop skills in all facets of business development, such as documentation and writing of information documents and business plans in preparation for financing search and strategic partnerships.

MICHEL GAUTIER, MBA, M.ENG.
Michel Gautier is a seasoned manager with extensive experience in major national and international organizations. A master of global business financing, Mr. Gautier is an expert diagnostician who helps companies plan mergers and acquisitions, determine strategic positioning and provide guidance to entrepreneurs with regard to business management.

PAUL HURTUBISE

During his 30-year career, Me Paul Hurtubise has acquired a considerable experience in commercial and corporate law, intellectual property and technology transfer. While working for a large Canadian communications firm, he held various high-level functions within the Legal Services Department and subsidiaries.

  

LOUIS LAFLEUR

Bachelor in Physics from Université Laval, and Ph.D in Medical Biophysics from University of Toronto, Mr. Lafleur pursued his education in Immunology at a post-doc level at Hoffmann-LaRoche's Institut d'immunologie in Bâle. During his career, Mr. Lafleur was Professor at Université Laval, Institut Armand-Frappier and University of British Columbia. He was assistant director in immunopathology's R&D department at the Vancouver General Hospital. With DiagnoCure, he was production manager, and associated with the management of the intellectual property and quality control. Also, Mr. Lafleur was scientific analyst at Sovar and Innovatech Québec.

  

ÉLISABETH LAVIGUEUR

A partner of Inno-centre for the past five years, Mrs. Lavigueur has dedicated her career to strategic information retrieval activities, training, the establishment of technological and competitive watch centres, as well as study of data management. Mrs. Lavigueur is a well-known expert in her field, invited to give lectures and training seminars on the subject all over Canada.

  

SÉBASTIEN MAILLOUX

A graduate of the École des HEC in Montreal in Business Administration, Mr. Mailloux completed the Strategic Leadership Program in order to obtain his CMA title. Managing and supervising multidisciplinary teams, Mr. Mailloux, in his previous employments, worked as head accountant as well as project manager. He sits on the Ordre des CMA du Québec, section Montréal, and on Nextgen réseautage Montréal.


CLAUDE MARTEL

A graduate of the Université du Québec à Montreal in Business Administration, Mr. Martel has focused his career on the development of emerging innovative technology companies. Mr. Martel founded the Corporation d'initiatives au développement d'entreprises de Lajemmerais (CIDEL), where he held the position of General Manager. Mr. Martel became General Manager of Inno-centre Québec, and was rapidly appointed as President and Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Martel set up a consultant program for entrepreneurs working in technological innovation, while promoting a long-term financing strategy for Inno-centre's operations, and developing a comprehensive business network. Mr. Martel has participated in putting in place a group of leaders working in Technological transfer where he sits as Chairman, he is also an administrator on Canadian Technology Network (CTN) Board.

  

PIERRE NELIS

Graduated from the Management Institute of McGill University, and from Université Laval within the Corporation Governance Program offered by the Collège des administrateurs de sociétés, Pierre Nelis had been responsible for the international operations of Softimage, the leader in special effects software with a number of Oscars to its credit. After overseeing Softimage's merger with Microsoft's Advanced Technologies Division. In addition to serving as a managing director of the Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec and the Development Bank of Canada, Mr. Nelis also sits on a number of private company Boards, as well as in the community network of Montreal.
