Yvan Valiquette

Senior business advisor

Following a career of nearly 25 years as an engineer and technology director with companies and organizations such as Dupont, Kruger, the World Health Organization and Environment Canada, Yvan Valiquette founded Vytech, a consulting firm specializing in new technology, which is active in several industrial fields, including environment, energy and marine biotechnology. Mr. Valiquette advises R&D agencies, universities and private companies on the evaluation, development, valorization and commercialization of promising new technologies. His fields of intervention include negotiation of technology transfer activities or partnerships; intellectual property management; business startups; business strategies and plans; evaluation of the commercial potential of innovative technologies; the search for financing and evaluation of investment projects for venture capital companies. A chemical engineer holding an MBA, Yvan Valiquette served as a Commissioner with the Bureau d’audiences publiques en environnement (BAPE) from 1997 to 2000 and is a member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec.
