Pierre Migner

Senior business advisor

A management and marketing consultant, Pierre Migner has worked in the agri-food and energy industries for the past 30 years. As an entrepreneur, he was involved in the creation and startup of two companies, the first in agri-food biotechnology and the second in biological fuels sold on the Canadian and U.S. markets. Through these experiences, he developed inestimable expertise in financing of emerging technology businesses, in the development and implementation of strategic plans and in management of innovation programs supporting the development of these companies. As a consultant, he guided the growth of Canadian and foreign SMEs in the establishment of research and development programs and the implementation of quality control systems. Previously, Mr. Migner worked with a major agricultural procurement cooperative ($3.5 billion) on the establishment and management of R&D programs, operation of production facilities and supervision of sales and marketing. Pierre Migner holds a degree in Agricultural Sciences from McGill University and an MBA from HEC. He is also a member of the Ordre des agronomes du Québec.
