Jean-Pierre Faucher is an international business development consultant specializing in interactive media and video games. Previously employed by Alliance Numérique as Executive Director of the Montreal International Game Summit, he took on the challenge of launching, organizing and directing that Summit. Under his governance, the Summit exceeded its objectives in terms of attendance and profitability for each edition and became an indispensable event of the international electronic entertainment industry. As co-founder of the CIAIC (Canadian Interactive Alliance Interactive Canadienne), a member of the IGDA (International Game Developer’s Association) and a jury member of the prestigious OCTAS Gala of the Fédération informatique du Québec, Mr. Faucher developed close ties with an impressive network of national and international contacts. Before his mandate at Alliance Numérique, Mr. Faucher worked at Quebecor Media as Publisher and Multimedia Product Manager. Among his many professional achievements, Mr. Faucher also co-produced and directed a popular television show on microcomputer technology.
