Hani Macramallah

Hani Macramallah had an outstanding 30 -year career at CAE, culminating in the position of Vice-President, Operations, responsible for 2500 employees in engineering, manufacturing, logistics chain, quality assurance and information technology. With an annual budget of $400 million, the Operations Division included flight simulator design, production and delivery services for civil and military aviation. During his memorable time at CAE, Mr. Macramallah directed the development of the MaxView visual system, which completely revolutionized the flight simulation market and doubled CAE’s market share to the 80% range. This achievement was rewarded with 4 Mercuriades awards presented by the Chambre de commerce du Québec. Mr. Macramallah also implemented an initiative allowing reduction of the production cycle from 32 weeks to 10 weeks, an intervention also recognized by Canadian Manufacturers & Exporters. Hani Macramallah, a graduate of McGill University, is a member of the Ordre des Ingénieurs du Québec.
